Maine Coon Seminar presented by Cari Tucker

Cari Tucker has been a Maine Coon Breeder in TICA since 2007 and a database manager for Maine Coon pedigrees in PawPeds since 2012. She is currently serving her third term on the Maine Coon breed committee. In 2020, she retired from her professional career as a pediatric clinical pharmacist and now devotes most of her free time to showing and
breeding Maine Coons as well as mentoring new breeders. When not knee-deep in kittens, Cari and her husband Pete are avid wilderness backpackers. This seminar will review the recent changes approved by the TICA Board of Directors to
the Maine Coon/Maine Coon Polydactyl breed standard which took effect May 1, 2023. It is important for TICA judges and breeders to know how to interpret the breed standard in order to maintain the breeds’ physical attributes that make it stand out from all other breeds.
