Junior Exhibitor Ring—SeaCats is pleased to support TICA's Junior Exhibitor program. The program is open to all exhibitors under 18 years of age participating in the show.
Any questions should be directed to Kay Hanvey, Northwest Region Junior Exhibitor Coordinator.
Placeholders - Once a placeholder is entered there will be no personalized reminders or conversion extensions. If you pay for a placeholder, it MUST be converted to an entry prior to the closing date/time. Any placeholders not converted by this time will be considered a donation to the annual.
Health — This is NOT a vetted show. Front and back claws must be clipped. Cats from households with contagious or infectious illnesses within the last 21 days are ineligible for entry. Any cats found to have any external parasites/fungus or showing obvious signs of illness will be removed from the show hall. All other cats belonging to the same exhibitor will also be disallowed entry to the show hall. All decisions made by the show management are final. Entry/benching fees will not be refunded.
Benching — A single cage is 21” X 21” X 21”. A double cage is 21” X 21” X 45”. The top, floor, sides, and back of the cage must be covered. Only one cat or two kittens are allowed in a single cage, and two cats or four kittens per double cage. Each entry is entitled to a double cage. To get a double cage for a single entry, or to use a personal cage for a single entry, you must purchase an additional 1/2 cage. If your personal cage is wider than 45”, you must purchase a grooming space to accommodate the extra width. Special benching requests will be honored to the best of our ability. Vending from the benching area is prohibited.
Exhibition/Sale Cages — Due to space limitations in the show hall, exhibition and sale cages will not be available. If you need an additional cage to accommodate entries please contact the entry clerk.
Kittens — Must be 4 calendar months (not 16 weeks) of age in order to compete. For this show, kittens must have been born on or before May 2, 2023. Kittens may be spayed or neutered. Kittens must be at least 3 months old to enter the show hall (born on or before June 3, 2023).
Kittens for sale MUST be litter registered and proof of age MUST be available to the show manager. Please bring litter or individual registrations as proof of age.
Household Pets (HHPs) — HHP Kittens (4 to 8 months old) do NOT need to be altered. HHPs over 8 months of age must be altered (neutered or spayed). Please indicate on the entry form the accurate color and pattern. If your HHP has short hair but a bushy tail, it should be entered as a long hair. If your HHP has a small white spot (locket) on an otherwise solid-colored body, it should be entered as a solid colored cat. TICA registration is not required to compete, but it is to claim titles. Phone the entry clerk if you require assistance in completing the summary and/or the entry form.
Preliminary New Breeds and Advanced New Breeds — Per TICA Show Rule 203.19, all Preliminary New Breeds (PNB) and Advanced New Breeds (ANB) must have a TICA registration number prior to entering any TICA show. No PNB or ANB may enter a show with “registration pending.”
